FIC Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb
Back in the day, FIC was one of the first manufacturers
affiliated with AMD.
during the period of time that the Athlon came to be a force to be reckoned with
FIC proudly strutted their stuff with the AMD 750 chipset featured SD-11. The SD-11
was a very simple board, but for me it was my very first DYI system, and it
never hiccupped one time during the time that I had it. I learned a lot back in
that day, and I also learned that if it ain't broke why fix it. with Asus, EPoX,
ABIT, and others having problems with their debut Athlon boards, the SD-11 just
kept running, and running, and running. As you can already tell I have a soft
spot for FIC, and over the years I have seen them always sticking to the same
marketing theory with no tricks. Well, FIC is sticking with that philosophy,
and with their somewhat newly acquired OEM licensing with ATI, I can say that
they hit the bull's-eye. Why is this? Well, their 9800 Pro is just downright
overclockable, and that is what ClubOC is about.. So lets skip the frills and
colorful PCB's and get dirty as we try, yes I said try, to kill this
card... That is of course if it can be killed...
