Internal View Part 2:

Above is a photo of the reservoir from the inside of the P180. The hoses are already installed and routed for you. Swiftech has even installed their "SmartCoils" on the hoses. These coils help prevent kinks and flattening in the tubes. If you've ever water cooled before, you know that hose kinking over time can be a big problem, especially in areas where the hose will have a sharp bend.

In the upper rear of the case is where the Swiftech MCR120 radiator is located. This is another heavy duty Swiftech product that was specifically designed for personal computers. This radiator mounts nicely to 120mm cooling fans, perfect for the P180 case. As with all components of the water cooling system, the radiator is preinstalled.

Here we have another view of the water pump located in the bottom of the P180. Swiftech has predrilled another set of mounting holes for the water pump just incase you need to relocate the pump. Those with larger modular power supplies will have to relocate the water pump to another position. I'll explain this later in the review.

The hoses are neatly routed through the chassis and rubber grommets have been used to protect the hoses. Swiftech has really gone the extra mile to ensure this case has everything a computer enthusiast would expect.

Looking beyond the water cooling kit, the inside of the Antec P180 case pretty awesome as well. The P180 has a 2 slide out hard drive rack with built rubber sound dampeners.

If you're worried about noise or vibration, Antec has gone the extra mile by adding rubber strips to areas that could vibrate against panels.

As you may have already noticed the power supply is installed in the bottom of the P180. The metal framework you see above is the power supply sound dampening bracket. Inside this bracket are rubber strips that firmly hold the PSU in place which helps absorb any vibration coming from the PSU cooling fan. The bracket itself is removable with 2 screws on each side. The bracket is optional so you may choose to remove it completely.

Even the removable 3.5" drive trays are sound dampened with rubber grommets as shown above.

The P180 comes with three 120mm cooling fans. Each fan is equipped with a 3 speed switch.
