For documentation you'll get a warranty card, a thinned down quick start guide, and an instruction CD with a full detailed manual that breaks things down to much finer details. As far as the hardware goes, you'll get two of the AV200 Powerline Ethernet Wall Mounts (that's their official name) and a pair of CAT-5 Ethernet cables.

The modules themselves are really quite simple on the outside. Three LEDs give you immediate information as to the units status. Pow is obviously - power. The middle is the VLINK status which is the connection between the GameNet units. The bottom is for actual Ethernet connectivity. The L/A next to the indicator icon is in reference to the LED state. Link is shown by a solid green and Activity is represented by a blinking green LED.

These are the instructions for setup taken right from the user manual. With only power and Ethernet plugs it can't be that complicated right?
