DFI NF4 SLI Infinity Motherboard

DFI has put their LAN Party series motherboards in the spotlight by including more accessories and decorating them with bright UV reactive colors. But just because a person is considered an enthusiast, it doesn't necessarily mean that they want or need all the added flare. The Infinity series is DFI's budget line of motherboards from which come toned down in the aesthetics and are a little bare in the accessories department, but still have the performance to drive a high-end gaming rig.

The NF4 SLI INFINITY may be packaged like a budget board, but its list of features and specifications are all on the hot list - making this one very capable nForce4 SLI platform. The NF4 SLI Infinity supports the Socket 939 AMD Athlon64CPU, to include the FX and Dual Core CPU's as well. (Opteron Overclockers: UNITE!) The four memory slots provide a dual channel (128-bit) memory interface that supports up to four gigabytes of PC2100(DDR266) / PC2700 (DDR333) / PC3200 (DDR400). Connection to hard drives and other storage devices are plentiful! There are two Parallel IDE channels and four Serial ATA channels. The nVidia RAID feature allows you to span a RAID set across the Serial ATA and Parallel ATA channels for RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 0+1 and JBOD. Other onboard peripherals include a Marvell 10/100/1000 Base-T "Gigabit" Ethernet controller, a Firewire (IEEE·1394), and a 6 channel audio solution.
