Most of us have had to rig some kind of wierd cooling up in the past to
get to those hard to reach areas. Even though is looked terrible
there was no way to get that fan to stay above the RAM unless we used
duct tape. We had to sacrifice looks for function. Antec has
come up with a solution that allows you to put a fan almost anywhere you
need it, combining form and function. Let's take a look.

Features and

- Mount virtually anywhere inside a
case
- Cools RAM, expansion cards
- Blue LED illumination included
- 3-speed switch lets you balance
quiet performance with maximum cooling

Not much is included in the
packaging, but not much is needed. The Spot Cool comes with a
simple instruction pamphlet and a screw. That is all you will
need. I would have liked for Antec to include a Molex to 3-pin
adapter for those of us that have all of our 3-pin headers full.
Installation
All you need to get the fan
installed is a location that is near a 3-pin fan header.

I chose a location near
the RAM.

This allows for cool air to
cover my RAM and also help generate airflow around my water cooled CPU
and Northbridge. Some people forget that the circuitry around your
CPU usually gets airflow from the CPU fan. So when you have a
water cooler installed that circuitry can really heat up.
