GigaByte 3D Aurora
Full Tower ATX Enclosure

As GigaByte continues to spread their offerings across the entire market of PC hardware, they have recently announced their first PC enclosure. The 3D Aurora  is classified as a a full-tower ATX enclosure with many marks of functionality wrapped in a simple, yet stylish, package. Offered in two colors, black and silver, the aluminum chassis shows that GigaByte's research and development team put forth a lot of effort in the design of this case.

     Specifications:

  Dimensions:

 205mm x 510mm x 430mm ( W x H x D)
  8"  x 21" x   19-3/4"(W x H x D)

Net Weight:  7.1 kg /  15.6 lbs
 Body Material:  Aluminum: 1.0mm
   5.25" drive bays:   5
  3.5" drive bays:

  2x external
  5x internal

  Expansion ports:   7
System Fans:

  1x 120mm (front)
  2x 120mm (rear)

    I / O ports (front):  2x USB 2.0 / 1x IEEE 1394 /
 2x Audio (1x Microphone & 1x Headphone)
Motherboard Compatibility:  ATX / MicroATX / Mini ATX / Flex ATX

The specifications alone do not spell out anything superior about the enclosure. So, we'll just have to take the case apart and examine it piece by piece.
