Cooler Master's CM Stacker Encloser

We've talked time and time again about the difficulties of finding The Perfect PC enclosures. Having the right number of drive bays and proper ventilation used to be the two big items on the checklist when it came time to buy a new case. Now, the list is longer when you add things like; window? pre-installed lights? paint color? aluminum or steel? The list goes on! Usually, I give a person a few web pages to look at and tell them "pick the case you want" when it comes to building someone else's computer. With modern standards like ATX/BTX things like cooling and drive bays aren't really an issue anymore. Now it comes down to what someone will consider an eyesore or that will best match their décor. With the wide variety of enclosure designs available, personal taste and style choices can be much more suited compared to the boring beige box of yester-year.

Cooler Master knows that there are folks out there that just want more! More drive bays, more room from alternative cooling methods, more room for case mods! Because we've all heard it before. Size Matters! If you're an enthusiast who is considering making the move to water cooling or just an out of control case-modder that wants the most surface area to tear into with a jig-saw, than the new CM Stacker from Cooler Master may be just what you're looking for. Check this out! There are a total of ELEVEN 5¼ inch drive bays on that bad boy, and that doesn't even scratch the surface. This thing is huge!

The box of supplied hardware is quite full of everything from casters to the necessary drive rails. The brackets on the left of the picture are for mounting the power supply. The wire harness if for merging the power leads of two power-supplies to form a redundant power array. There are screws of all sizes specialized for mounting the motherboard to the stand-off studs, and the drive rails to the 5¼ devices, plus the standard assortment of case screws for securing the PCI/AGP cards to the expansion ports.
