Antec Atlas Server Case Review

The inside of the Atlas is laid out in a pretty common ATX design.  The motherboard mounts support micro to standard ATX motherboards.  The internal bays support 4 3.5" drives in removable trays.  The white drive rails for the top bays are visible in the bottom but are mirrored under the front drive bays.

Taking a closer look at the back you can get a better look at the TriCool fan, named in reference to the white three speed control seen just below the power supply here.

The front reveals the drive bay structure and the hidden 5.25" rails.

Like the Titan 550, the front bezel opens like a door and can be removed to facilitate access to the drive bays.  The front also houses two optional 92 mm fan mounts in a hinged removable drive bay door.

With the door open, we have access to the 4 removable drive bays.

Drives are mounted in the trays using the included hardware.  The rubber grommets are designed to dampen drive vibration and reduce overall noise.  The additional cage adds very little weight and increases drive stability quite a bit.
